Giulio Degani Labeled Violin

This bold sounding Guarneri model violin is labeled Giulio Degani, 1932. The instrument is in excellent condition and is suitable for professional playing. Between a 7/8 and 4/4 size, it is perfect for the advanced musician that needs a smaller instrument but doesn’t want to sacrifice sound. The one-piece maple back, deeply flamed ribs, and spruce top are finished with an orange-brown varnish applied over a highly reflective golden ground. The scroll is made from highly flamed maple and is masterfully made with a deeply carved volute. The instrument has a silvery tone that is rich, clear, and powerful. Length of Back: 349 mm
